Pavements in August, salted paths in January, and a nose that’s doing the hardest work of any part of them. The balm is a rich, quickly-absorbed comfort for paw pads and noses that have gone dry and rough. The most giftable thing we make, and the one people are most surprised they needed.

Warm a little on your fingertip and work into the pads and the bridge of the nose. Best applied when they’re settling for the evening, so it absorbs before they’re walking about. Distract them for a minute or two afterward.
Very low, close to unscented.
Winter salt, summer pavement, hard-working paws, older dogs. Less suited to cracked, bleeding or painful pads. That needs a vet.
